Bristol Slapstick Festival

To start the year off right, be sure to attend the Bristol Slapstick Festival. It is one of the city’s most popular events every year. International Jazz and Blues Festival

Your year wouldn’t be complete without a weekend full of amazing live music. From soulful rock n’ roll to funk, the festival is a music-lover’s heaven. The line-up for this year features big names like Macy Gray and Bobby Shew, one of the co-founders of the be-bop genre.

International Balloon Fiesta

10th August – 13th August

Finally, get the most out of your summer by attending a festival dedicated to hot air balloons. Happening at the Ashton Court Estate, it is an incredible sight to experience. For four days, the sky will be filled with over 150 hot air balloons. There is plenty of entertainment happening on the ground as well. The best part is it’s free and only a short taxi ride from the city centre.
